3 Day Etosha National Park (Accommodated)

Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park
Meals:  Lunch and Dinner

Our journey begins in Windhoek at 08H00 - 08H30 as we head north to Etosha National Park – Namibia’s largest Game reserve.

On our way we will stop in Otjiwarongo, and Outjo to fill up with petrol and get provisions. We will have a picnic lunch along the way and arrive in Okaukuejo in the afternoon to set up our camp.

Our game drive begins immediately - have your camera handy. Our experienced guide will take us to various waterholes where the wildlife is most abundant. We can expect to see zebra, giraffe, elephants, rhino and a variety of antelope.

After your evening meal there are still more chances to see Etosha's big game at a floodlit waterhole, situated on the boundary of our camp and easily reachable within a minute or two on foot.

Day 2 : Etosha National Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

To day we spend the whole day exploring the abundance of wildlife, plants and history of Etosha National Park with our knowledgeable guides during a Full Day Game Drive.

During the day you will  visit the famous and massive Etosha Pan.  We stop at Halali camp for a rest and a leisurely lunch and there is time to visit the waterhole and to make use of the swimming pool and bar facilities before continuing to the eastern side of the park and our camp next to Fort Namutoni.

At Namutoni camp you will have the chance to  relax at the swimming pool or at the waterhole before a late afternoon game drive. The game viewing is usually excellent with close views of springboks, zebras, impalas, giraffes, gemsboks and plenty of birds. If we are lucky we may also have some close encounters with elephants and lions. In the evening we may enjoy a glass of wine and experience a fabulous sunset from the tower of the old German fort before dinner around the campfire

Day 3 : Etosha National Park to Windhoek
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After a morning game drive and breakfast we exit the park on the west side and embark on a long, scenic and adventurous transit back to Windhoek.

We Make a quick stop the Otjikoto Lake and mining town of Tsumeb to support the traditional dancers and musicians at the Tsumeb Arts Performance Centre.

Driving through the sparsely populated rural areas, we stop at the popular Okahandja wood craft market for an opportunity to browse and purchase curios.

We are back in Windhoek in the afternoon and you will be dropped off at your accommodation/airport on our return.
