A group of four of us had 24 hours in Cairo to see the top sites, after a lot of searching (and inquires) we settled upon Ayman, who did not disappoint. He was responsive and helped us design a day trip that hit all of the sites we knew we couldn't miss. After picking us up form the airport, we were on our way -- Ayman made sure that we were comfortable, prepared for the day ahead and helped us understand aspects of the Egyptian culture we otherwise might not have been prepared for. He was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions. Since our day began earlier than expected, we ended up adjusting our schedule and he gave us the opportunity to visit more/different sites. It was wonderful to not have to worry about getting from place to place, but even more so, to know we were in great hands. Two of us ended up working with Ayman on a second day for a sunset camel ride, which was flawless. If you're thinking about visiting Cairo (or any of the nearby cities), I cannot recommend Ayman enough. He is an exceptional tour guide who will ensure that you have the trip of a lifetime!

We did 3 days with Ayman in Cairo. He was an excellent guide, informative and friendly.
Communication was easy to set the trip up and he advised on where to go and what to do.
Every day he was on time and provided a good driver with a comfortable van.
He was flexible in meeting our needs and seemed genuine in wanting us to have the best possible time.
Ayman is knowledgeable about all aspects of Egypt and is very good company.
You can do Cairo without a guide but I'd say in a busy and quite overwhelming city it makes the experience better all round to have one. To have a private guide makes the trip more tailored for you.
I would recommend Ayman to all.

My wife and I are just back from our first trip to Egypt. Ayman Ahmed truly enhanced our vacation-- he provided us with a wealth of information about the ancient sites at Giza, Darshur, Memphis, and Saqqara, as well as at Islamic Cairo, Coptic Cairo, Zamalek, and Downtown! He has a wonderful sense of humor, and he patiently and fully answered all of our questions about both ancient and contemporary Egypt. He has excellent command of English, and he was always right on time. We enjoyed four full days of touring with Ayman, in and around Cairo, and he also picked us up and dropped us off at Cairo Airport, for our various flights. Ayman made our time in Cairo pleasurable, fun, and easy-- and Cairo is nobody's idea of an "easy" city. Go to Egypt-- there's so much to see, and we always felt safe. When you go, contact Ayman. We truly enjoyed his company, and we enjoyed Egypt so much, with him as our guide.

We spent three days with Ayman and they were the best three days of our two-week trip! Ayman took us to all the best sites, Giza, Saqqara, Dahsur, Memphis, Zamalek and walked downtown Cairo giving us dining advice. He was incredibly knowledgeable about each place. He also gave us great insight as to the culture and religions of Egypt, answering my many questions, which totally enhanced the experience. I am a single mother travelling to Egypt for the first time with my teenage son. Ayman was helpful, knowledgeable and completely dependable. He made us feel safe and being an archaeologist, he had so much extra information and insights. I thoroughly recommend Ayman for any type of tour in Egypt.
