What a day! Absolutely incredible. Our tour guide, Nadia, is engaging, SO knowledgeable, fun and professional. Communication prior to the tour was stellar. We braved wind and rain in Jerusalem but made the best of it. Food for lunch was also amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better, more fulfilling experience. Also, shoutout to our driver, Tony! He was wonderful as well. HIGHLY recommend!!!

We did a private tour of Jerusalem. I was with my partner who had never been to Israel and I, as a frequent visitor, was expecting yet another tour of the Old City with the presumption that I’d “heard it all before”. How wrong I was. Not only did Nadia provide a newcomer with with a brilliant well-rounded guide of the entire history of the city, but she also enlightened me to so many new experiences and historical stories. At end of the day it dawned upon me that I’d had tours in the past that provided me with a patchy and sometimes biased tour. Nadia is such a professional. She pitches her tour perfectly to suit the attendees and seems to sense when you might need a coffee or little break. She has encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Jerusalem but delivers it in a humble and concise way with a good dose of humour too. The day passed all too quickly and was beautifully planned.

After such a great experience in Jerusalem we then embarked on a cycling tour of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. This gave a great overview of the city and provided a modern historical context of Israel, a good compliment to the ancient history tour of Jerusalem. Nadia conducted the tour safely and with professionalism. Her nuggets of local knowledge about where to eat and what to do for fun were invaluable too. It was a well rounded tour and we enjoyed the architectural content too.

Nadia is a brilliant guide. She tells the story of Israel in a balanced way. She keeps things interesting and is sensitive to her audience. The day flows well and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her to my friends and family and anyone visiting Israel.

Great small group experience

I was on a business trip and wanted to spend 1 day in Jerusalem - preferably a late start and small group. I lucked out. Our guide Nadia was intelligent and funny. She didn’t just describe what we were seeing, she made us think. She bought us bread when our energy was low and arranged a great lunch for the group as an option. She connected with people of all ages and backgrounds on the trip - so everyone felt comfortable asking questions. I would highly recommend this tour group! Great fun and I felt very welcome as a solo traveler.

Informative and relax tour

This is a very efficient, informative and relax tour. Not like other tours requiring getting up very early, this tour started at 9 in the morning. Our tour guide Nardia started feeding us the history of Jerusalem once all on board before arriving at Jerusalem. At each attraction points, she gave us enough information to understand what it was about. We also had time to ask questions and took pictures.

Single traveler - Amazing experience!

Single gal with a short stay in Israel - so glad I booked this trip! Well paced (but def wear comfy shoes - there is a ton of walking) with a snack rest and a lunch (extra money) but so worth it. Our lunch was in top floor with a beautiful view, and it was delicious. I do wish there was a bit more time within the Holy Sepulcher, but the tour is so timed out that there isn't much extra time to spare. Nadia was just amazing and while I was a single traveler, the group that was on the bus was very friendly and I enjoyed this potentially once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend and well worth the money!

Great tour! Very thorough, I feel like I had got a PhD in religious history by the end of it. I was not feeling well during the tour but our tour guide Nadia was super understanding and had great energy the whole time

The lovely smells of the old city

My favorite part of the trip was the smell of nargilas being smoked in the old city's lanes and small store fronts, and meat being grilled. The other favorite was our guide's Nadia's devotion to the group, her knowledge and energy. I strongly recommend taking this trip.

A day to remember in Jerusalem

A brilliant personalised tour of the many sites of Jerusalem. Nadia our tour guide was fab and extremely knowledgeable . By the time we arrived in Jerusalem from Tel Aviv we have a history/ religion lesson which made visiting the sites more interesting….. despite the many challenges Nadia had on the day of the trip- awful traffic and delays, the heavens opening, members of the group going AWOL frequently and having to walk to a different pick up , she retained her sense of humour throughout. Great driver and beer on the way home extremely welcome. Thoroughly recommended

We are in general not a big fan of guided tours, but oh boy, this one was really awesome.

Nadia is truly a fantastic tour guide. She is very enthousiast, dynamic and extremely knowledgeable. She is able to bring all the information in a captivating way, which keeps the tour exiting from beginning to end. What she also does particularly well, is the way she interacts with all the participants and by doing this, making everyone feeling comfortable in the group. In the end it almost felt as a group of friends.
Well done! We had an intensive, tiring but also very fun and enriching day. Rivers of Babylon will always remind me of this trip 😉

The tour is very well structured, and extremely well executed. Nadia is perhaps the best guide we ever had in many years of touring. She is very knowledgeable, analytical, and precise with the information she gives, quite unbiased under the complex political situation in Israel and its neighbors. Perfectly fluent English. Her dynamic delivery keeps your attention captive throughout the tour.

The tour itself was very well designed, clean bus, good lunch, and the small group was pleasant, economizing on time with the getting off and back on at the stops, as compared to large tour buses.

We had Nadia as our guide. She is an excellent person and and excellent guide. She is really committed to give the group the best possible service. The tour itself was also great. No idle time, focusing on what is really important. No useless stopovers for shopping, etc. We had time for lunch and some quick souvenir shopping. Can only recommend.

Fun Filled Day in Jerusalem

Nadia was fantastic! She had a great ease about her and her explanation of a complex history and confluence of the region was informative while not being preachy. We went to so many amazing places and the narrative that was provided was wonderful and kept my attention.

Even though the tour takes up the entire day, Nadia kept the tour upbeat and continued to make sure we all felt included. We saw so much and met some amazing people from around the world. A day well spent in our time here in Israel.

A perfect day discovering Jerusalem with Nadia

It was my first time in Jerusalem and having just one day to visit the city I chose to do it with Amazing Jerusalem since they focus on small groups (we were just in 10 people). We had Nadia as a tour guide and I must say that she was outstanding! Probably one of the best guides I have ever met. She is super knowledgeable and objective in explaining to us the delicate facts about Israel and the Palestinian territories without taking a side. Moreover she is very clear, speaks very good understandable English and she is super engaging. The tour was very well structured, without any downtimes and we were able to see the most important sites of the old city. Nadia offered to go all together to a nice restaurant where we had good food without spending a fortune.

We had a great time from start to finish. Nadia starts off the day by telling you the history of Jerusalem and Israel which makes the bus ride getting there go by quickly! The driver was great as well, he made pick up and drop off in a location convenient to us. We learned so so much valuable information and it was truly and amazing experience. Cannot speak highly enough about this tour. Nadia was an exceptional guide. Regardless of your own religious beliefs, this tour is comprehensive and covers an extraordinary amount of information. The main sites were explored in detail. I kept notes to remember all the incredible things Nadia described! We were also kept very comfortable throughout the tour, from appropriately timed lunch/snack breaks, and very convenient transport on the bus. Would for sure recommend.

Best day trip I have been on!

Our tour guides, Nadia and Jonny made you feel part of the history of Jerusalem. I have taken quite a few day tours through Europe, New Zeland, and Australia with Trip Advisor sourced tours and this was the best.

Insightful and Interesting tour; highly recommended!

This tour exceeded all of my expectations. The group and bus was small (16), the guide (Nadia) was expert, engaging, and an excellent story teller. I left knowing much more about Jerusalem, its site, its history, and the three major religions that call it home. Pace was good and we were able to see a tremendous amount in 1 day + drive there and back from Tel Aviv. Highly recommended

Excellent guide brought Jerusalem to life

We picked this small group tour due to its fantastic reviews and a 0900 pick up which means you can enjoy a great Israeli breakfast before heading out. Nadia our guide did a fabulous job all day, including an overview of over 3000 years to put Jerusalem in context. Given the amount of historical sites packed into such a small place there is a lot to take in which Nadia masterfully guided us through.

From the time we were picked up at our hotel in Tel Aviv, until the very end of the tour, I felt the tour was very well planned out and very well led by Nadia. Nadia is a wealth of historic information. We had about 12 people in our tour which was great, we saw other tour groups had to be easily 50 people or more. The tour bus that was used for our tour was very clean and didn't smell like smoke, something that we appreciated during the hour and half ride to/from Tel Aviv. Don't bother looking at other tours, just contact Nadia, you will be very pleased.

Don't get me wrong: the sites, the history, the culture... the gravity of the place is the star. It's the ice cream, chocolate syrup, caramel, nuts, sprinkles and whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel, nuts, sprinkles and whipped cream. But the people you'll meet are the cherry on top. Our guide, Nadia, was amazing,. a force of boundless energy. Tony, our driver, was a champ. Our tour mates were so much fun, and it was great to get to know them just a little bit. So, yes, you are considering a tour of Jerusalem for any number of reasons. You've likely read all of the advice about bringing water and it's true. But, in my experience, getting to know the people that you're now going to spend the day with in a truly remarkable place will take your experience over the top. And having a smaller group like you'll have on this tour makes a difference. Happy adventuring.

Nadia took us on a wondeful tour of the four quarters of Jerusalem. Not only does Nadia have an extensive knowledge of their history which extends over thousands of years but she also delivers the information with enthusiasm and in a most interesting and engaging way. Nadia knows her way around the many alleys of the Old city and had something interesting to say about every site we passed. I have toured the Old City on many occasions but Nadia showed us places I was not familiar with and gave us comprehensive information about them all. Fascinating! She also managed to customize the tour according to our interests. Above all, Nadia is friendly and enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy the tour as much as we did. (Nov 2019)
