Shimshal Valley is located in the northern area of Pakistan. There was no road till 2005. The Shimshali people built the road their self. Its 55 km from KKH( Karakoram High Way) 80% of the road is rocky. After a very adventures Jeep road, you reached Shimshal valley (The Valley of Mountaineers). This village produced mountaineers for Pakistan. 22 mountaineers who have summited 8000m Peaks in Pakistan & in Nepal including 1st Muslim lady who summited Mount Everest 8848m. The villager’s grove wheat and vegetable for the living. 90% of income comes from Tourism. The important thing about this village is people live very long because they do not use the car for travelling. They walk from place to place. People give education to their children whatever they faced the financial problem or any other problems. Visit this village put your effort and grove their income and make a great society.
