07:30 – Pickup at Hotel, drive to Hattiban Fedi.
09:00 – Arrive in Hattiban Fedi. Local hikes and stop for lunch.
17:00 – Drive back to Kathmandu from Tau Daha.
What you will Experience
Champadevi day hike begins just after hour and half to Taudaha which is famous for lush green forests and different verities of birds watching. The hiking is of total 4 hrs depending upon the kind of observation that you make. The hiking starts from the bottom of Hattiban hill. Champadevi day hike starts after drive about an hour and half towards Taudaha. The initial path of hiking is also used for downhill cycling so it is easy to walk. After 30 minutes of walking we reach to our first checkpoint. The first checkpoint is also the picnic spot for most of the city dwellers. So, it would be fun watching people enjoying the gathering there. After short rest we move towards Champadevi hill. The steep uphill hiking can also be termed as familiarization trip before we go for trekking. Since the path is exactly at the edge of a hill we will have 360 degrees view of Kathmandu Valley and its surrounding hills. If the climate is favorable we can see the mountain range too. On your right side will be the dense Kathmandu Valley and on your left side will be the green fields, scattered village on the bank of Bagmati River. This is the unique opportunity for you to experience completely different scenic delight from a single place. After one and half hours of walking upwards you will reach the Champadevi temple at the tip of hill hiding amidst dense forests. We will spend one hour time right in front of the temple for meditation. The peaceful atmosphere with just the chirping sounds of birds to hear your mind and soul would be regenerate the much needed positive vibes. After meditation
We will have refreshment and head back downhill. The downhill hiking will take about 2 hrs until we reach Taudaha. Taudaha is nearest natural lake present in Kathmandu Valley. After short sightseeing in the Taudaha we head back to hotel. If cancelled or modified fewer than 3 days before the date of departure, or in case of no-show, the full booking item amount will be charged.
