Gavi was a great guide. Really worth the extra money to be in a small group

This was a super interesting guided tour with Gavi. He was lively, interesting and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Jerusalem. He was very objective and at no time did we feel he was biased. He took us to a great restaurant for lunch. It was so good, my husband and I went back again the next day. We decided to take the tour with the small group (8 max). I'm really pleased we did because it was so much easier to interact with Gavi, our guide, and ask questions. Gavi's choice of monuments/sites to visit was excellent.

Sights and stories of history and belief

This tour was a very valuable experience, well worth the cost of admission. By turns funny, tragic, fascinating, and instructive, it also helped me feel less lost in the Old City, in which I had become lost several times the day before! Our guide, Gabi, knew so many stories and dates, which helped put the historical events in perspective relative to each other. He shared a few personal anecdotes as well as stories from the three major religions that claim Jerusalem as either birthplace or center of worship. Lunch was great, and the pace of the walking didn’t leave me exhausted. A few of us even had energy and desire at the end to walk over to the Garden Tomb just outside the old city, which Gabi helpfully pointed us on the way to. I would happily do the tour again if I visit Jerusalem with family or friends who haven’t been.

Review of Full Day Jerusalem Tour: In Jesus' Steps

If you're going to take a lifetime trip to Jerusalem I highly encourage investing in the experience and getting a personal tour with Gavriel. Do no join a big group and fight for the views, deal with the lines, listen through headphones and deal with random distractions from others. I took my mom for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Jerusalem and the best decision I made was getting a private tour.
Why:
1) Gavriel walks you place to place with a no rush - as much details as you want attitude
2) Per my request, gave us the views of all the religions about the sites so I can see where commonalities existed and where they did not (which was fascinating)
3) Interact with you like a personal friend would - it's a conversation - not a presentation
Bonus:
We opted to skip our lunch time and get to another area we wanted to visit - was it a problem? Nope.
Bonus #2:
We wanted to spend more time in certain places and less time in others - was it a problem? Nope.
You are taking the time and spending your money on an amazing learning experience - go cheaper on your dining and make your investment in this private tour. You won't regret it - that's a promise.

A great way to experience Jerusalem

We spent three days in Jerusalem and this tour was a highlight. Gabi was our tour guide and he was fantastic. There were only five of us on the tour, which was nice and he really cared about all of us, not only our experience but us as people. We did an extensive walk around old Jerusalem: from the Temple Mount to the Western Wall to the different quarters and more. Our breaks for coffee and for lunch were also very good. Gabi was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth. Would recommend this to anyone.

Perfect!
This tour was all I'd hoped for. With only 6 of us, Gabi was able to really help us to understand the culture and significance of the sites. We could all hear him and were able to ask questions, which doesn't happen with larger groups. I was impressed with his knowledge and genuine interest in what he was telling us, and more importantly, he could tell us from the perspective of all three religious traditions. Excellent tour; I highly recommend it.

Great individual tour with a dedicated guide in German language

I want to thank you for your Service.
Our guide, Gabi gave us a very good private tour for our group of six persons in German language.
He was easy to contact and informed us upfront about problems with the opening times of the holy grave and he was concerned, that he cannot offer us the promissed visit. Due to this we could adjust our schedule and visited it earlier by ourselves. Which was impressive, as there was no line (Wednesday before Eastern '22)
The Tour on Thursday was very informative and especially the Temple Mount was a highlight. We got also good background information and we all understood why "It is complicated" there. We enjoyed the unbiased presentation of the history and the current situation.
He was also adjusting the tour to our needs. and we enjoyed especially the pointing out of details and realized what we missed during an unguided visit several years ago.

Outstanding half day tour

Our family of four (with two young adult daughters) had a great private half day tour of the Old City with Gabi. He was friendly and very knowledgable. He took note of our interests before we began and he was flexible. He kept our interest the entire time - our girls also enjoyed it immensely. We came away knowing so much more than if we had explored on our own. It was a great way to begin our stay in Jerusalem.

I got a personal Tour by Booqify, my Tour guide was Gabriel. The experience was amazing. I learned a lot about the history of Jerusalem, it was an interesting sightseeing. In this Tour you can see the real life of the old city, the places to pray in different religions.
