Great tour from Tel Aviv that hit the highlights of Jerusalem, and left a real impact on me. Our guide Itai Bar did a great job shepherding us throughout; we were supposed to go to Garden of Gethsemane and Temple Mount, but being Ramadan, Passover AND Eastern Orthodox Holy Thursday, religious fervor was high and there were disturbances (and police rubber bullets) on Temple Mount. He moved things around, and we had an early lunch, Itai making changes on the fly. He's very knowledgeable about the geography and history, and very diplomatic in answering our questions about issues that drive the region mad. At the end, he took us to a local market and neighborhood since we had extra time from the morning.
I would highly recommend this tour, and Itai as a guide!

Itai is a great tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and provides the most important information during the tour. Tour starts at 9am with either private pickup if you booked in advance or at a common meeting point if you book last minute. The tour covers the most important places in Jerusalem. On the bus we got water and Itai explained a lot on the way. I learned a lot of new things. There is also a stop for coffee and lunch. Thanks Itai, loved the tour and would highly recommend it.

Great Jerusalem day trip.
Itai the tour guide and Tony the driver are both very nice. Itai is super knowledgeable and friendly.
The mercedes van is clean, comfortable, air conditioned and spacious. It’s even equipped with bottled water, coffee machine and iced beers - it’s very generous.
Before the tour, Itai sent us detailed instructions and was very patient answering questions.
We were picked up on time in the morning.
Itai is very knowledgeable and guided us through the day. He’s very helpful and passionate about the tour.
We also had a coffee break and lunch, just the right timing to have some sit down break.
It’s a fascinating cultural and history trip, and it’s well arranged.
Highly recommended to anyone who’s interested in visiting Jerusalem.

It was a good tour. Ithai was our guide and talked basically the whole time. He added good info in general. They picked us at the informed time and The tour happened from the pick up time at 9:03 in Tel Aviv and delivered time at about 17:15 back in Tel Aviv. It was with some rush, but we saw basically what was on the script the Jewish quarter , the Christian quarter, the wall, olive tree mount, but it was not possible to reach the temple mount. Also inside of the holy sepulchre church it was not possible to reach the most inner part, even though most was seen. We had a 25 min coffee break and a 45 min lunch break. The lunch costed 60 shekels per person, juice included. It was a good opportunity to eat some local food at a good location. The time frame and the amount of walking and stairs were just right.

An excellent tour, the ideal introduction to Jerusalem. I chose this company because they promised a small group (maximum 19), thus minimal time wasted collecting people from myriad hotels. This made for a very palatable pick up time of 9-930am (Many of the bigger tours need you ready at 6am). Additionally, there are no scheduled ‘shopping’ stops. Bad luck if you’d coveted that Jesus fridge magnet. Our guide, Itea was superb - extremely knowledgeable of history & archaeology, with excellent English skills & an easy going manner. This boutique tour was also conducted in English only - no time wasted on multiple translations. Additionally, you can utilise it to transfer to Jerusalem if you’re overnighting there - just let them know you’ll have luggage. Itai’s en-route power point presentation equipped us with invaluable information & a much greater understanding of how the complex layers of time have come to form this wondrous but oh so conflicted city. A further bonus was the group photos he took & forwarded afterwards. I won’t detail the itinerary as it’s there on the website, but I felt I’d covered many of the most important sites, un-rushed & un-herded, & with the comfort & wide ranging knowledge of a local on hand. There’s an optional stop at a charming coffee shop on the Mount of Olives & a run of the mill mezze lunch in the Old City (ILS60).

Our guide (Itai) was very knowledgeable and patience. Perfect one say trip to walk around Jerusalem and visited all important spots in the old city.

I can highly recommend the Amazing Jerusalem tour - my son and I had a super time. It was well organised and we very much enjoyed having Itai as our guide. The pick-up and return to Tel Aviv worked well, the group size meant we could follow Itai's guiding and have many opportunities to ask questions, we got to visit the major sites and certainly learned a lot. It was a day well spent.

The tour was absolutely AMAZING !!!!
Very small group (18 people) in a small bus with a lot of walking and a very knowledgable guide (Itai).
The tour started with the drive to Jerusalem. On the way our guide explained all about the history of the area from 3000 years ago, he had maps which he showed and we learned a lot.
At the top of the olive mount we were explained the burial tradition now and during Jesus times, visited the two churches and had time for a small coffee break in a very traditional small place owned by the family since hundrets of years - they are very traditional - they only take cash though.

We walked all the way down where we were picked up by the bus again to be brought up to the temple mount. Unfortunately it was Friday so we were not allowed to go there but we have visiting the western wall and then walked through the muslim quarter through very busy small streets to the restaurant.After lunch we went to see the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where we stayed for 40 minutes.
We decided to have the group visit the muslim quarter without us and stayed another 30 minutes in the church by ourself.
The tour ended with visiting the church of the last supper and the tour through the Jewish quarter.

Finally, the guide gave us guys a beer (who wanted) and some bread - not sure if this is standard with each tour or just because the driver had to do some shopping before Sabbat, but it was quite nice.

What to expect:
- you will walk A LOT - we had 16.000 steps on our watch and were quite tired and sleeping on the way back
- to learn a lot of interesting information, a lot of context and stories from the past
- a guide to have some flexibility like letting us stay in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre by ourselfs and re-join the group later

What to NOT expect:
- being dragged in souvenir shops and spending time there instead of seeing landmarks (we actually cut our lunch short to do a bit of souvenir shopping)

It was THE best tour we did ever - exploring a city by foot is the best, we learned so much and we had time to really see what we wanted to see.
The small group and the amazing guide did the rest.

Itai was an excellent guide. He provided a 3,500 year history during the 90 minute drive from Tel Aviv. This provided crucial context for the next five hours as we saw dozens of the most significant and inspiring sites on the Mount of Olives and in the Old City. I took just over 11,000 steps on the tour.

Itai really understands how to bring 3000 years of turbulent history into context. Walking around Jerusalem with him and hearing about the history of the city in the context of what was going on in the region - empires, religions and modern day politics - was a really enlightening experience. Highly recommended.

The tour was well-organized from start to finish. Itai, our guide, covered a lot of ground (in terms of information and places). Grateful for the fact that even if we were only 4 in the group, the tour proceeded.

This tour was orchestrated exceptionally well. I was impressed at the scope of experiences that were captured in a relatively short period of time. Itai is an excellent guide, and the timing around each stop was optimal. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great trip. Our guide Itai was really good at explaining 4000 years of history and putting things in to context as we went through the day. Plus being a smaller group was huge win and enabled us to see more and feel more connected with experience. Definitely recommend Amazing Jerusalem :).

I very much enjoyed myself as Itai was very knowledgeable about the history and religious purpose and significance of all the famous spots in Jerusalem. The walk through the muslim and christian quarter were very interesting in terms of how the people there live and Itai provided a lot of rich context about how people live.

Our guide Itai was fantastic and was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of interacting with in Israel. His knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the day made for such a great experience. From the moment we were picked up from our hotels in Tel Aviv, he spent the entire drive to Jerusalem providing us with a background on the sites we were going to see and the history of the city. It was extremely informative and we really appreciated the context setting for the tour. We had limited time in Israel and wanted to cover the main sites (e.g. 4 quarters, temple mount, and Mount of Olives) and this tour was the best way to do so. One of the best guided tours I have ever experienced. Our tour guide Itai was very knowledgeable and gave a very detailed description of Jerusalem and historical events on way from Tel Aviv all the way into the Jerusalem. A small group of 12 made is a very immersive experience. We spent enough time at every stop with more comments from Itai and comments and questions from our group members. In a place like Jerusalem, of course every stop is a highlight but feeling of visiting and touching the Western Wall was the ultimate experience. Thank you Itai.

I think it was the best summary I could've gotten for the day we spent in Jerusalem. Going through each significant place, having a deep historical background but also getting to know about the modern geopolitical situation.

All of that explained with detachment & respect for all religions.

The tour although very comprehensive it went very smoothly. Despite the heat we had perfectly balanced breaks and flexibility in the schedule.

Of course, our guide Itai was amazing in coordinating and giving us all the details and answering every questions we had. Such a great person!

Personally I had a minimum understanding on everything that was going on in Jerusalem and I found the tour to be the perfect match for discovering this incredible city.

It was amazing to understand a little more of the history of Jerusalem and experience the existence of three major religions operating in the same spaces. Itai our guide spoke very good English. He was great at explaining the history answering questions and was eager to give us a wonderful cultural experience rather than promote souvenir shops etc. when we got into the van, we were offered espresso shots. This was helpful for me to wake up as I was rushing and missed my coffee. Itai introduced us to eating oblong bagels with Zaatar, a fun and tasty experience. Summer is hot, remember wide brimmed hat, water, shades and good walking shoes.

Itai really takes you back in time and makes you experience all of Israël.
No matter what your religious background is you get to experience Jeruzalem.

I've been in Jerusalem before, but never with a guide. And for me that was the big plus. All the places that I've seen before I understand now better, because the guide told a lot of things I didn't know. The tour shows all the highlights in good tempo: not too quick and not too slow. Lunch was great and the guide (Itai) knew a lot about Jerusalem and it's history.
