I have had numerous guides throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Based on my experience, I would rate Agustina Efrat Asis as the finest guide I have ever experienced. My tour was through the old city of Jerusalem. Augustine is Knowledgable, personable, enthusiastic and goes the extra make the experience educational, thorough and enjoyable. Anyone who has Augustina as a guide is a lucky person. I say that advisedly.

What an interesting tour! Efrat was an excellent tour guide. It was incredibly informative and very interesting. I can only recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a closer look at the Old City and the history of Jerusalem. We also had lunch together and a cup of coffee in the morning, where we had a great time talking as a group.

Vimos toda la ciudad antigua empezando en el Monte de los Olivos. Nos recorrimos los 4 sectores y nos llevó a comer a un sitio fantástico. Muy bien atendidos siempre.

Today we had a great tour with the vety nice guide Efrat through the old city of Jerusalem. She guided our familie through the most interesting and beautiful streets and buildings of the old city. Not only explaining everything about these important places in historie but she also gave us a better insight in the complexity of the situation in this city and tje country of Israël. Everything in a objective and very enthusiastic way. She picked us up at the hotel at 9 AM and before we knew it was 5 hours later when the tour ended in the Church on the top of Golgotha. It was really worth it. It was our first time and i can advice everybody to book this wonderful, professional and very nice guide. Going by yourself you will mis so many of all this special places and the meaning of it in history.

Agustina la mejor guía en Jerusalén en español

El día de nuestro fin de año, hicimos un grupo familiar de ocho personas un tour con Agustina Efrad por Jerusalén, y la verdad quedamos encantados con ella, cercana, muy buena profesional, que además de contarnos en detalle toda la interesante historia de la ciudad, nos guió por todos los lugares más interesantes de la ciudad, de una forma objetiva y clara. Siempre estaba pendiente de nosotros y tasó muy bien los lugares de parada y las visitas. Además nos contó de forma pausada y comunicativa, desde la situación actual del país, de la sociedad hasta los usos y costumbres actuales y ancestrales.
La verdad no concebiria volver a la ciudad y no contar con ella.
...y eso que como le dijimos, nuestra intención era hacer la visita con los franciscanos, y la verdad nos alegramos muchísimo haber contado con ella. Repetiremos y desde que volvimos no hacemos otra cosa que recomendar que viajen a este país muy seguro, y que sin duda contacten para la visita, con Agustina!!!

This was an excellent tour of the Old City. We joined the group in Jerusalem instead of starting in Tel Aviv. Booqify arranged a cab to pick us up in the morning and drop us off at a pick up spot to join the others. There were only 12 people in our group which was very nice. Made it a lot easier to hear what the guide was saying and we spent less time trying to round everyone up at each stop. Efrat, our guide, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the sites and history of the area. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the holy land.

Agustina Efrat, nos guió durante toda una mañana, por todos los lugares con encanto de la Ciudad Vieja de Jerusalén. Todo resultó muy entretenido e instructivo, tanto para mayores como para pequeños (10 y 13 años). Las explicaciones fueron muy amenas y didácticas y el recorrido se adapta muy bien a las necesidades y lugares que visitar.
Realmente recomendable y Agustina se merece una felicitación por la inolvidable experiencia. Un diez en todos los sentidos. Recomendable 100% y repetiría.

Estuvimos dos días en compañía de Agustina Efrat y fue una experiencia maravillosa. El primero día estuvimos por Jerusalem conocimiento todos sus encantos y el segundo fuimos a Masada y el mar muerto. Definitivamente es la mejor guía de todas, tiene mucho conocimiento, es una persona muy cercana y amable y desde el principio siempre estuvo atenta por si requeríamos algo, siempre en contacto con nosotros y nos hizo sentir muy bien. My husband and I traveled to Israel for a week and of course, Jerusalem was high on the priority list. We started our Israel trip in Tel Aviv and planned to end it in Jerusalem. Booqify's "Jerusalem day tour from Tel Aviv" was a great option because we were able to use the tour as a transfer from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The company had no problem with us bringing our luggage on board the beautiful luxury van/bus and at the end of the tour, they simply dropped us off near our hotel.

The tour itself was fantastic! Our guide, Efrat, was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Our group was made up of no more than 10 people or so which made it feel like a very custom/private tour. Efrat was such a gracious tour guide and we are extremely grateful to have met her.

The tour itself is pretty long, but Efrat gave us time for breaks and we stopped for a tasty lunch inside Old town Jerusalem. We had an amazing time learning about Old Town Jerusalem and we highly recommend Booqify's tour. Hopefully you have the opportunity to tour with Efrat as she was an amazing tour guide. Thank you, Efrat, for such an amazing experience!

Gran profesional

Estuvimos un dia con Agustina visitando Jerusalen y fué fantastico. Nos encontramos en nuestro hotel, super puntual, con taxi nos dirijimos al Monte de los olivos y allí empezo toda una experiencia dirigidos e informados al detalle por esta estupenda guia. My Mother in law (who needs a wheelchair), my husband and I, took a full day tour with Agustina on Ash Wednesday.

She was on time, respectful, knowledgeable, kind, detail oriented, fun, sweet and, really made our day ... AMAZING!

She took us everywhere we wanted to go and, showed us amazing places we never dreamed of seeing; like Jesus’ tomb. She talked to the priest and, allowed us to skip the line, so my Mother in Law could see it.

She also took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch and, helped us order. It was just a wonderful day!

If you are in Israel, and want to have an unforgettable experience, please do yourself a favor and contact Agustina. She’s THE BEST! Worth her weight in gold! Renting audio guides and/or going on a big tour, will never be the same experience.

With Agustina, we were able to go at our pace, ask millions of questions... and just ended up having the best day of our trip so far.

A well organised tour, taxi from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and back. And the driver shared during the 1 hour drive a lot about living in Israel.
At Jerusalem we met our guide Efrat.
She took us to old Jerusalem and made it an experience to remember; a journey through history in an unique city.

Recomiendo a la guía Agustina Efrat


Quiero recomendar a mi guía en Jerusalén, Agustina Efrat. Ella no solo fue puntual y amable sino que se adaptó rápidamente a las exigencias de modificación del plan original del recorrido. Agustina se esmeró a cada paso y en todo momento de brindarme la información adecuada de cada lugar. Hizo que aquella jornada en Jerusalén fuera inolvidable. Pero lo que más me sorprendió y por lo cual estoy profundamente agradecido, es que yo le pasé un sitio en Jerusalén que quería visitar. Era mi objetivo principal, mi prioridad, muy por encima de cualquier otro lugar de Jerusalén y Agustina se tomo la molestia de investigar todo lo que pudo acerca de ese sitio los días previos a mi llegada. No fue solo a acompañarme al sitio sin más (que tampoco fue muy simple de encontrar) sino que demostró interés obligándome incluso a una charla intensa sobre el tema mientras merendábamos al final de la jornada. Es decir, una verdadera profesional. También actuó de fotógrafa, siempre con la mejor onda. Ah, por sobre todo, soportó con amabilidad estoica mi escepticismo sobre algunas historias que forman parte de la tradición. Creo que si eligen a Agustina no se van a arrepentir. Recomendadísima.
Espero volver a Jerusalén pronto llevando esta vez a mi familia. ¿A quien creen que voy a contratar?

"recommended if you really want to get to know the city"

we were already in Jerusalem and were "hooked up" at 10.30 am on the olive mountain with the rest of the group. We had booked the English speaking tour and under the expert guidance of Efrat we had a fantastic day and seen many sights. Just a very good guide in combination with a small group makes this day tour an absolute must. You get a lot of info and you can ask anything that makes the city even more special. In short, an absolute must.

Private Tour With Efrat Turns to be the Highlight of Our Trip

We were a family of 5 visiting from the US. We spent most of the day with Efrat walking through the various sections of the old city listening to her stories shedding light on every part of history as relating to every neighborhood in the Old City. After watching large groups of tours in the Old City where people couldn't see or hear the guide, we knew we wanted a more meaningful private tour and choose Boogify. We, couple, had a great day In Jerusalem with our guide Efrat. Not only did she know all about the history but she also gave an insight in the daily life of Israel. My group were only able to spend one day in Jerusalem on this trip and wanted to make sure we picked the right tour that would include all the highlights for our first visit to the Old City. I stumbled upon Booqify and chose the 5-hour Private Walking Tour of the Old City. Menno was very easy to contact via whatsapp, payment was easy and I was able to speak to our actual guide - Efrat - so that she could tailor the tour to our needs. We were extremely lucky to have Efrat. She was super friendly, entertaining, knowledgeable and could answer any question we threw at her. Her passion for Jerusalem and her job came through in her enthusiastic presentation. She was also very understanding when our group came later than the organised time which we really appreciated (sorry again!). I highly recommend Efrat as a guide and Booqify as a service. We were led around by Efrat in Jerusalem. It was very interesting .. really a must! For example, Efrat took into account the fact that children have different needs. Our children are teenagers and also found it very nice and interesting. We liked it very much that their wishes were taken into account. The water tunnels were a highlight for them!

Great "Old City" Experience with our tourguide Agustina Efrat
We were first in Isreal and Jerusalem and decided to go on a private tour of the "Old City." Our tour guide was Agustina Efrat, who has a deep and broad knowledge and can convey it very vividly and entertainingly, which is very important - the millennia-old story is very confused and complex. Efrat is a very refreshing species, and the 6-hour tour was over much too soon.

All in all it can be said: What a great experience - thanks again Efrat!

Even though I have a ton of experience traveling inside of the United States, I must be honest in saying that the planning of my trip to Israel was a bit intimidating. The main reason being because I didn't REALLY know how to sift through the internet which was clogged with tour options, and I didn't want to get ripped off or waste time with the logistics of trying to do it alone.

My wife and I decided to go on the 8 hr walking tour of Jerusalem and the mount of Olives through Booqify, and we were lucky enough to have Agustina as our guide, per a recommendation from my cousin who had her just a few weeks prior for a 1/2 day tour.

Agustina made this trip SO special for me, and allowed us to feel taken care of the entire day. She talked to us like we were close friends, and showed us everything we wanted to see while giving us applicable history and scripture that tied in with where we were and why it was significant.

I'm telling you, having a great guide is crucial and makes the trip better.... it was worth the money and I'm very happy to have had Agustina help make something so important to me, come alive!

She was flexible with our needs for breaks, and extremely knowledgeable about Jerusalem from Christian, Jewish, Muslim points of view. She also was able to bring detail about archeology and ancient history from her previous studies. A special treat was being able to switch the tour between Spanish and English whenever we wanted, as Agustina is fluent in those languages, and I think in more languages. An excellent tour!

The Booqify private tour of the Old City is a brilliant way of seeing the key sights if you have limited time as we did and Agustina is one very good tour guide to do that with. As a small party of 7 we were able to learn a great deal more than if we had been part of a much larger organized group. In addition Agustina made it feel a much more personal experience. She is also a delightful, charming and knowledgeable person with a warm personality. One of the group used a disability scooter and she was very sensitive to his needs and restrictions. The whole group felt they had got a great deal out of the tour and much of that was down to Agustina. To her go our grateful thanks.

Great Walking Tour with Agustina

We had a limited time in Jerusalem so wanted to maximize our time. Agustina met us exactly on time where we were supposed to meet and immediately started a delightful tour. Since the beginning, when I first contacted Agustina, I got a great vibe and an amazingly fast and useful response. While communicating with Agustina through Facebook, I figured that she also speaks Spanish, which was even better as I had 2 Spanish speaking friends coming over from abroad.

Agustina prepared 2 possible itineraries, we chose 1 and scheduled to meet her. The tour was amazing, we had 8 hours of traveling while learning about Jerusalem’s history.

If you need a funny, nice, easy-going and knowledgable guide, I would definitely recommend her! 🙂

Desde el principio, cuando yo estaba hablando con Agustina, recibí un buen vibe y su respuesta fue rápida y util. Mientras hablaba con Agustina desde Facebook, entendí que ella también habla español, y eso salió re bien porque 2 amigos míos que hablan español llegaron a Israel para un fin de semana largo y claro que eso les ayudó.

Agustina nos había preparado 2 posibles itineraries, elegimos 1 y nos quedamos con ella ahi en Jerusalén. El tour era increíble, habíamos tenido 8 horas de viaje mientras aprendimos sobre la historia de Jerusalén.

"It was my first time to Israel and I didn't want to leave the country without visiting the holy city Jerusalem. Due to my work I only had a stay of 24 hours. Already at home I was browsing for a suitable tour but there were only whole day trips to be found - early in the morning till the late afternoon. Happily I found Israel Travel Advisor. Since they already offer private half day tours I asked them if it was possible to organize me a driver from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and thus everything was coordinated for me in the blink of an eye. Menno greeted and welcomed me that morning and the driver brought me to Jerusalem where Agustina was waiting for me. Her first impression was convinced me and I was happy to have her as a guide. Agustina was well prepared, never have I seen a guide that printed documents, pictures and texts to make everything more understandable. She asked me in advance what I'd like to see since we only had a few hours. We were going through the top attractions without rushing and she explained everything slowly but with vigor. She is a very nice person and we even ended up talking a little bit about ourselves without importunity. Agustina told me she is not native Israeli but she studied and learnt the language. Married to an Israeli she had all the important background knowledge I'm sure some Israelis don't even have.
I had made a lot of tours in my life, but never was a guide so attentive and joyful. She reminded me to drink a lot of water and took good care of me. What I really appreciate is that Agustina doesn't urge you to buy stuff like other guides do and she really has the magic touch for taking pictures. Further I need to mention that she wasn't a guide who just learnt texts and dates by heart, but she lived it and I could feel that. All in all my expectations were exceeded and I would really like to thank you all again. I'm happy that I took the chance to write Israel Travel Advisor. They tailored and shortened my tour to my needs without skipping important attractions, all was planned by them in one afternoon a day before my trip. Thank you very much!"

"Efrat is an amazing tour guide! She is creative, fun, always willing to go a step further to make her tourists enjoy the most their experience knowing Israel. As I use a wheelchair, she took very good care of the accessibility of the places we were going to visit and found great alternatives for those that were not accessible. Great guide and great person. During a 10 day visit to Israel I soon realized that in order to learn more about the country it would be efficient to employ the services of a tour guide. Fortunately Agustina Efrat was recommended. She took all the time necessary to find out what would suit my interests best. She then suggested two tours which fitted in nicely with the available time. It all worked out perfectly: the pick-up time from the hotel, the information received before and during the tours, the pleasant and knowledgeable assistance of the local operators. The tours were well balanced in time and content, well guided but also gave time to investigate for one self whenever possible. Don\'t miss the opportunity to get the the most out of your stay in this astonishing country!

Took a 6 hour tour led by Agustina and it was a wonderful experience. She is so knowledgeable about Old Jerusalem and is well versed in the various historical and religious sites. We started with a wall walked and then explored the different sectors. We had plenty of time to ask questions and get into discussions. We had an excellent lunch in the Muslim sector, saw Roman ruins and the Western Wall in the Jewish sector, and walked the stations of the cross in the Christian sector. We saw things that my friend who live is Israel had never seen before.

This was not a site seeing tour - it was a trip to the heart of the old city. I felt like I really got to know the soul of this beautiful city which holds such power and mystic. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Booqify if you want to truly special experience in Old Jerusalem.

I usually don't like tours. My experience of tours has always been of big, noisy groups where you can hardly see or hear anything. This tour was an exception. Small group, and an excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly tour guide: Augustina Efrat. We saw all the important places and more, had all our questions answered in detail, ate a delicious lunch - in short we had a great time. Even as an Israeli I saw places I never new existed so I strongly recommend this tour to everyone. Irit

We booked a Jerusalem day tour with Augustina in February and from the outset we can state that the tour was a wonderful experience. Augustina contacted us early on and planned a terrific tour based on our wishes. We visited all the important sides and also sides that we never would have been able to see by ourselves. Augustina is very knowledgeable and explained the religious and historical sites in great detail. Overall Augustina has been an outstanding guide and made the tour with her the highlight of our visit to Israel. We couldn’t have been any happier with the tour!
