Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday

 

Gatiman Express Train departs from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station(Delhi) for Agra 08:10 AM.

1. On your arrival at Agra Cantt Railway Station You will be picked up by Driver in AC Car.


2. You will be met by your Tour Guide on your arrival and then you will be taken to Taj Mahal directly. Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world and it is also famous as Temple of Love. It was built by 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in 17th century.


3. After visiting Taj Mahal, we will stop for lunch at local Restaurant.


4. Next we will visit one of the most beautiful and well preserved forts of India i.e Agra Fort. This fort was built by 3rd Mughal Emperor Akbar in 16th century.


5. Next is Itimad Ud Daulah or Baby Taj. This is also a very beautiful mausoleum built in 16th century by the 4th Mughal Empress Nur Jahan in the memory of her parents.


6. After completing the sightseeing if you are interested or if you have time then you will be shown some local arts of the town. Beside these monuments Agra is also famous for its Marble Inlay Work, Mughal Hand Knotted Carpets and Zardozi or Semi precious or Precious Stones.


7. After completing the sightseeing you will be dropped at Agra Cantt Railway station for your Train Journey back to Delhi .
