Jerusalem Classical Tour
We begin on Mount of Olives, looking at the most breathtaking scenery. We see
the temple mount, at the Kidron valley, the city of David, where it all began. We see
why Jerusalem was so vulnerable from west and north, and not from east and south.
We continue to the church of all nations (Gethsemane), the last night of Jesus, where
he was captured by the Romans. Then we go through the Jaffa gate into the old city to
the church of the holy sepulcher, and the Via Dolorosa. We visit the wailing wall, the
Jewish quarter, the broad wall, the Cardo, the Crusader’s market street, Mount Zion
with the hall of the last Supper and the Dormition Abbey.
If time allows, we can see some of the sights in western Jerusalem: The seven armed
Candelabra in front of the parliament, the Israel Museum.
After itinerary, date and place of pick up are fixed, I will make an offer of the price, which includes free water for the tour, and headsets, so everybody can hear me clearly.
