After breakfast, morning excursion by boat to Ol Kokwe island in the center of Lake Baringo. This is home to the small Njemps tribe who still live by fishing from their primitive reed boats, just as they have done for many hundreds of years.

Despite their life-style, the Njemps have a very good school on the island and speak good English. It is be possible to meet and talk to them about their way of life. After Breakfast, we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at Kongoni Camp. An exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renowned and over 400 birds’ species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. After Breakfast, breakfast drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion’s roar, a cheetah making a kill, and the big elephant herds are all very fascinating events. Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve. Elephant and buffalo abound in the riverine forests, while out on the grasslands Impala and Thompson’s gazelle can be seen together with their attendant predators including lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal.
