FIRST DAY

Arusha - Lake Manyara Park.

Following a hotel breakfast, we leave Arusha for our first stop at Lake Manyara National Park a two and a half-hour drive from Arusha.

Lake Manyara Park is well known for its climbing tree lions, and birdlife in and around the lake. A leisurely picnic lunch will be served inside the park. The remainder of the day will be spent inside the park. Full board, all-inclusive accommodation will be at Twiga campsite

SECOND DAY

Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park

Breakfast will be available between 7:00 and 9:00, followed by a direct 3 to 4 hours drive to Serengeti National park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided en-route. A picnic lunch will be served in a designated park area.

We will arrive in Serengeti park in the late afternoon. This often affords one an opportunity to see the animals at rest, seeking shelter from the unrelenting heat under the branches of a large tree. We check-in at Pimbi Campsite before leaving for evening drive close to 3 hours and later we return to Campsite where dinner awaits us between 7:00 and 8:30 pm.

THIRD DAY

Serengeti National Park

An early morning departure from the Campsite is strongly advised for a better chance at spotting lions. A departure of 6:30 a.m. is recommended. We’ll be back at the Campsite between 8:00 and 9:00 for breakfast, and back out on safari for a drive of close to three hours. We then return to the campsite for lunch and a brief rest before leaving for an afternoon game drive of close to three hours. As with the first night, we return to the Campsite where dinner awaits us between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m.

FOURTH DAY

Serengeti Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The day starts with an early morning drive from Serengeti Park. Breakfast will be served at a picnic place at the Naabi entrance gate.

We will arrive at Ngorongoro around 10:00 AM, and then ten to twenty minutes descent nine hundred feet down to partially explore the crater which stretches 18 kilometers. We will be spending five hours in the crater and having a picnic lunch while there. A favorite spot for Lunch is by the hippo pool.

For that time, affords one the best opportunity to view animals while they

are active. The chance of seeing the Big 5 is very likely – Buffalo, Elephants,

Rhino, Lion, and Leopard.

We will leave the crater Around 3:30 PM for the 3 hours drive to Arusha and check-in at Arusha.
