Adventure Tour
Our itinerary is prepared for a 13 days adventurous tour in Sri Lanka but you may need an extra night depending on the arrival time of your flight. Also, if you wish to stay longer at any of the lavish holiday resorts, you can extend your stay accordingly.
Day 1 - Negombo
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka, Assistance on arrival by a representative of "Next Vacation". Transfer to Negombo and check-in at the hotel. Depending on the time of the day in which you have arrived, you may have time to go on a Boat trip in the Negombo Lagoon. Relax and unwind after your flight, preparing yourself for the adventure ahead. Dinner and overnight stay at Negombo.
Day 2 - Anuradhapura
The next day, we will head on to the city of Anuradhapura. Here you will be taken on an exciting jeep safari to explore the Wilpattu National Park. Your night stay in Anuradhapura. The next day you can see the sights of the ancient city of Anuradhapura in bicycles. Towards the evening, you will head on to a jeep safari of the neighbouring wildlife sanctuary, more popularly known as the Minneriya National Park.
Day 3 & 4 - Sigiriya
Your overnight stay on day three will be at Sigiriya, close to the town of Sigiriya. On day four we have scheduled a visit to the ‘Lion’s Rock’. Climbing the rock does not require you to be extensively fit so most people can do this activity. After lunch, you get onto a Bullock Cart which will take you on a tour of the Sigiriya village. You can end the day with a relaxing herbal massage in the neighbouring city of Habarana after which you will be driven back to hotel for your night stay.
Day 5 - Kandy
On day five, You will visit the Dambulla Cave Temple in the nearby city of Dambulla and then drive to the city of Kandy. Once there you will obtain blessings at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and towards the evening you will be taken to enjoy a cultural dance show in Kandy. Your night stay will be at Kandy.
Day 6 - Kithulgala
The next morning you will depart for the small town of Kithulgala, we present an exciting opportunity for white water rafting. An extreme adventure water sport which will be an experience of a lifetime! you will check in for your night stay at the Kithulgala or Kandy.
Day 7 - Nuwara Eliya
scheduled for a visit to St. Claire’s Falls and Devon Falls on the way to the city of Nuwara Eliya. Towards the evening you can explore the lush tea plantations and visit Tea Factory to learn about the tea manufacturing process. your night stay at the Nuwara Eliya.
Day 8 - Ella
we will drive you to the town of Ella where you will explore the extravagant beauty of Horton Plains and Worlds End. You will also have the opportunity of riding on a Sri Lankan train and indulging in a scenic journey from Nanu Oya to Ella. An optional visit to the “Little Adam’s Peak” is also on the schedule if you wish. You will then check in to hotel in Ella for your night stay.
Day 9 – Yala or Katharagama
Your next destination is the city of Yala, with a stop to visit Rawana Water Falls on the way. You will head towards the South of the island. On the way to the city of Yala. Once in Yala, you will be taken on an exciting Jeep Safari at the Yala National Park. Your night stay will be at Yala.
Day 10 - Mirissa
The next day you will be driven to the neighbouring city of Mirissa. En route, you can visit the fish market as well as observe the old and mind boggling tradition of stilt fishing. Once you check in to hotel in Mirissa, you can relax on the beach for the rest of the day.
Day 11 & 12 – Bentota
Early next morning we will take you on a whale watching tour in Mirissa and then drive you to Galle, where you will explore the Galle Durch Fort. Your next stop will be in Bentota, which is also on the southern coastline. Your night stay will be at Bentota. As you approach the end of the tour, days twelve completely dedicated towards relaxing at the beach, giving yourself a nice sun tan and spending quality time with your family.
Day 13 - Airport
Depending on the time of your flight the next day, you may have a chance to explore few hours before you have to take off for the airport. This will be the end of your Adventure Tour with NEXT VACATION. We hope this itinerary is up to your liking and hope you will approach us for further details.
