The National Museum houses a copy of the famous fossil discoveries of zinjanthropus from Olduvai Gorge, plus other archaeological finds. Wander through the History Room and ethnographic collection for insights into Tanzania's past and its mosaic of cultures. Including the Rolls-Royce used first by the British colonial government and later by Julius Nyerere (father of the nation). The new extension, the House of Culture, provides an educational resource center, a contemporary concert venue and a display area for contemporary art. Pickup time is 9Am, Exactly 10Am you'll start at the National museum and house of culture. 12Pm you'll arrive at the Askari monument before visiting St. Joseph's cathedral church. 1Pm take time to enjoy your swahili lunch cuisine. 2Pm it's the time to experience the African culture at Makumbusho village museum and you'll end up to Mwenge wood carvers market at 4pm before a drop off to your hotel or home.
