Mode of transportation: - Surface and Flight

Day 1: Arrive Addis – Mekelle

Up on arrival at Bole international airport and met by our representatives and transfer to domestic terminal for your flight to Mekelle. Overnight in Hotel

Day 2: Mekele- Hamedela

Morning after breakfast take our scout, cook & camping equipment from Mekele and drive to Hamedela and on the way visit the Afar village over the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley system to the western highland. Overnight camping

Day 3: Ahmedila- Dallol- Ahmedila

In the morning drive from Ahemedila to Lake Asele and visit the thousands of camel caravan and the rock salt mining. Afternoon, Drive further to Dallol Cobber Sink; the lowest spot on earth’s surface not covered by water (-116 below sea level) enjoy the spectacular view and small hill, which is colorful by hot spring in several places. After visit drive back to Ahmedila and overnight camping

Day 4: Ahmedila- Ertale

After breakfast, drive from Ahmedila to the living Volcano Ertale which means "smoking mountain” in the local Afar language, Visit the volcano and overnight camping.

Day 5: Ertale- Mekelle

After breakfast trek for about 3-4 hours, your vehicle will be waiting where your journey back to Mekelle start. Drive to Mekelle and overnight will be in Axum Hotel

Day 6: Mekelle – Addis

Fly back to Addis Ababa. In the afternoon sightseeing of the city and evening will be farewell traditional dinner in one of the best restaurant in Addis followed by folkloric dance of different Ethiopian nations. Then transfer to airport to fly back to home, where your tour ends.
